School Input and Engagement at Saint Philip Howard CVA, Glossop - Friday 17th October

Glossop SNT - School Engagement and Input

PCSO Buller of the Glossop Youth Engagement Team (YET) attended St Philip Howard CVA, Sunlaws St, Glossop today, Friday 17th October. He had been invited to complete an input on ‘Road Safety’ with their Year 7 Students by school. All four classes were seen, with some great engagement and questions - well done all.

He was accompanied by Cadet Leader Brenda Smith during the lunchtime drop-in session -  to promote Cadet Recruitment for the Glossop Cohort. As the deadline for applications approaches at the end of October.

He was also there to make the students aware that this week is ‘Hate Crime Awareness Week’- by displaying posters and information for students to discuss and read.

It was also a wonderful opportunity to complete some Derbyshire Talking Youth Surveys with the students during their lunchtime break too.

Thank you from the team to Brenda Smith (Cadet leader) who gave up her free time to assist today, also the school Senior Leadership Team and staff for accommodating the visit/engagement and especially to those students who engaged with the team during the inputs and our lunch time drop in session.
